Cheap KD 9 has been a surprising fan-favorite thanks to a combination of premium materials and an interesting backstory that few people knew about before the colorway released. Now Jordan Brand is reviving the colorway for its latest Air Jordan 31, as the Jordan 31 Shattered Backboard will release on October 1st for $185 USD.We’ve seen Carmelo Anthony preview the upcoming Air Jordan 1 Reverse Shattered Backboard, a more “Chicago” like color blocking when compared to its predecessor which used the Jordan 1 Black Toe as a blueprint. Here the Air Jordan XXX1 showcases its lifestyle sensibilities with an outsole that’s somewhere in between Sail and Gum on the color spectrum.
Latest Jordans 2017 is the third straight signature Jumpman model to champion a Flywave woven upper, but this time around, the contours of the silhouette are more lifestyle friendly than ever, taking design cues from the Air Jordan 1. You can find the similarities most notably on the ankle collar and tongue, but the colorways are what truly help this model stand out. The Air Jordan 31 “USA” utilizes a simple white base while accents of University Red and a Deep Royal Blue adds a clean finish. The Jordan 31 “Brazil” has already released at select international retailers, but stateside availability is overdue. A vibrant touch of royal blue fades into a Volt-like gradient for a vibrant colorway in honor of the Olympics host country.
Jordans For Cheap is here. Yes, the official release date of the Banned colorway is not until September and the Olympic colorway is still a few weeks away but if you were fortunate enough to be in Las Vegas or in Los Angeles this past week, there’s a chance you’ve already either seen and tested the shoe out in person already or you’ve already got a pair on to rock since they were being sold for the first time. But for the rest of the world, they’re still marinating on the news of the reveal and what to expect in the coming months. After checking out the kicks up close last week, I asked the staff to get their thoughts on them and see how they compare to what’s been marinating on my mind.
